How it works

You record a contribution. It gets a unique fingerprint.
You send the person a link. They read it and choose Confirm or Decline, and consent to being named.
Their browser signs the decision. They send back a short code.
You paste the code. The signature is checked, and your entry shows as confirmed.

Be clear about what this proves. It proves a key holder signed this exact statement. It does not prove who they are. Pair it with an ORCID, an institutional email, or a link to the work.
